Online Banking enables individuals and sole proprietors to transfer funds to and from their First Northern Bank and Trust Checking Accounts and Statement Savings Accounts, and to and from their Checking and Savings Accounts at other ACH-participating financial institutions based in the United States.

  • Limit of 3 incoming and 3 outgoing Transfers per day
  • Schedule one time or recurring Transfers
  • Transfers may be made until 3 p.m.  Transfers made after 3 p.m. will be processed the next business day.
  • Transfers involving other banks are subject to their processing timelines, typically up to three business days
  • Mobile App available for iPhone®, iPad®, and Android™ phones and tablets

Enrolled in Online Banking? Ready to schedule a Transfer? Log into Online Banking, click Bank to Bank Transfer and New Transfers, fill in the required fields, select a frequency and date, then submit the form. To edit or delete a Transfer, click Pending Transfers and make your adjustment.

To open an account eligible for Online Banking and Bank to Bank Transfers, call 1-800-344-2274 or visit any branch location.

Once the account is open, you can enroll in Online Banking and complete the Online Banking Addendum to request that Bank to Bank Transfers be enabled. To submit the form, visit our contact page to request instructions to upload the document online, mail it to your preferred branch location, or drop it off at your convenience. Then, download the First Northern Bank and Trust Mobile Banking App from the App Store or Google Play.

To initiate a Bank to Bank Transfer, a Sole Proprietor must use their Social Security Number instead of a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
