Online Banking enables individuals and sole proprietors to transfer funds to and from their First Northern Bank and Trust Checking Accounts and Statement Savings Accounts, and to and from their Checking and Savings Accounts at other ACH-participating financial institutions based in the United States. 

  • No service fees
  • Limit of 3 incoming and 3 outgoing Transfers per day
  • Schedule one time or recurring Transfers
  • Transfers may be made until 3 p.m.  Transfers made after 3 p.m. will be processed the next business day.
  • Transfers involving other banks are subject to their processing timelines, typically up to three business days
  • The First Northern Bank and Trust Co. Mobile App for iPhone®, iPad®, and Android® devices is available for download from the App Store® and Google Play®.

To initiate a Bank to Bank Transfer, a Sole Proprietor must use their Social Security Number instead of a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN). Draws against unavailable funds will result in a charge equal to the current overdraft fee. See our Schedule of Service Fees for additional fees that may apply.
